Our Off-Grid Alpine Adventure

Thundering Hills is a unique luxury off-grid experience with spectacular views nestled among 120 year old gum trees on a 100 acre property at an elevation of 1100m above sea level.

Six years ago we began our journey to this off-grid alpine adventure.  Just a newly married couple heading to Dinner Plain for a romantic weekend away.  And this is where our story begins.

There was so much to love about our first trip to Dinner Plain.  Almost as quickly as we had settled into our hotel we had decided that this was a place that we could really feel at home.  The love affair had begun and the property hunting started immediately!

We spent many weekends up  in the region searching for the perfect property.  Four and a half years and 3 children later and we had found our little piece of perfection. @ThunderingHills
